WHAT TO EXPECT
Micro topping is a hand-applied decorative finish, so natural variation in colour, texture and movement is part of the finished appearance and makes each application unique.
Before application, we assess and prepare the surface to ensure it is suitable for the micro topping system. The surface is then primed before the micro topping is applied by hand in multiple coats to build the desired texture and finish.
Once the application is complete, the surface is sealed to protect the finish and make it suitable for its intended use. Because each project and surface is different, we will discuss the colour, finish and preparation requirements with you before work begins.

Because micro topping is applied by hand, no two finishes will look exactly the same. Natural movement, variation and trowel marks form part of the character of the finished surface.
